On 21st December 2025, our Parvy community came together for one of the most anticipated events in our calendar: our annual Christmas party, held at The Clay Oven in Alperton.

For many of our residents, the excitement began long before the evening itself. In the days leading up to the party, residents enjoyed shopping trips to choose new outfits, visits for fresh haircuts, and pampering sessions including manicures and pedicures. At Swanage Lodge, we transformed the lounge into our very own makeshift salon, where hair was carefully styled, make-up was perfected, suits were steamed, and the festive spirit was truly in the air.

Our Christmas party has become a very special tradition for us. It brings together residents, staff, families and loved ones outside the usual day-to-day routine, giving everyone a chance to enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and happy setting.

The evening was full of smiles, good food and plenty of dancing. There were friendly catch-ups around the tables, lots of laughter, and some very competitive dance-offs! Moments like these mean a great deal to us, because they show the strong sense of community that has grown within our homes over the years.

At Parvy, we believe good care is about much more than meeting practical needs. It is about knowing each person, understanding what matters to them, and creating opportunities for residents to continue enjoying life in ways that feel familiar, dignified and joyful. Celebrations like this give residents the chance to dress up, feel confident, spend time with loved ones and make new memories.

One of the highlights of the night was our Secret Santa gift exchange, which brought plenty of smiles and surprises. This was followed by a delicious three-course meal and an evening of entertainment, music and dancing. Families and loved ones of both staff and residents joined in the celebrations, making the night even more special.

For our staff team, it was a privilege to help residents get ready and enjoy the night. From supporting shopping trips to making sure everyone felt comfortable on the evening, the small details were just as important as the celebration itself. These are the moments that reflect the heart of our work: providing care that feels personal, thoughtful and full of life.
Our annual Christmas party is a reminder that our homes are not just a place where people receive support. It is a place where memories are made, friendships grow, and people come together as one community.

A heartfelt thank you to our residents, families, loved ones and staff team for making the evening so special. We are already looking forward to the next celebration.
